Strace: org.compass.core.engine.SearchEngineException: Failed to rename index This appears to be a Compass issue when the quartz scheduled (hourly) reindex job fires shortly after or while the searchable plugin has cause an index, probably after a user updated a searchable domain object. Sometimes after a few hours the quartz scheduled rebuild completes successfully but not always.

Reported to upstream by us: Simply using index() instead of reindex() seems to prevent this bug, gnuMims will also shift to using afterUpdate in appropriate domain classes to fire the quartz index job. |
