End: Visit www.gnumims.org === !YouTube Channels === * There are two channels. * [http://www.youtube.com/gnuMims] is the ''official live'' channel. * Login email is contact@gnumims.com * [http://www.youtube.com/gnuMimsDev] is an ''invisible'' channel for development use. * Login email is dev@gnumims.com * Both channels and webdav use the same password. === Uploading Videos === For new videos. * webdav://www.gnumims.org/youtube/ provides webdav (read/write like ftp) access to the backup. * A webdav client is required and the login username is ''gnuMims'' and the password is the same as the !YouTube ones. * Simply place a new video in the ''!NewUploads'' directory. * The ''!NewUploads'' directories are monitored, simply copying a file to them will automatically upload, name, tag and playlist the files in the live !YouTube channel. * The progress will be logged. * The video will be moved to !CompletedUploads (overwriting any existing video of the same name). * If placed in a playlist folder then the video will be added to that playlist. For videos already or manually uploaded to !YouTube. * !YouTube allows a video owner to download their videos in a nice compact mp4 format. * Go to My Videos -> next to the video there is a dropdown menu -> Download MP4. * Simply download and place them directly in the !CompletedUploads directory. Read Only: [http://www.gnumims.org/youtube/] has been setup as a backup and can be viewed directly. === Webdav Clients === * In GNU/Linux with Konqueror and Nuatilus? simply paste the webdav://www.gnumims.org/youtube/ url in the address bar. * In Windows IE and [http://help.collab.net/index.jsp?topic=/teamforge520/action/connecttowebdavwithwindowsexplorer.html Explorer] may work otherwise [http://www.bitkinex.com/ BitKinex] is well know.
